Add / Deactivate / Change Roles of Users

This feature is available only to Admin and users.

Add User

  1. Click (Settings) and then click [Add User].

  2. Enter the [Email Address] and [Username] and select [Role].

    NOTE

    • Please refer to “Ventana User Account Types” for the types and privileges. Privileges can also be changed afterwards.
    • The email address entered here will be used as the account for logging into Ventana.
  3. Click [Send].

    An invitation email will be sent to the entered email address.

    NOTE

    The invitation is valid for five days. If it has expired, please re-invite the user.
    Re-Invite Users

Re-Invite Users

The [Status] of the users that need to be re-invited are displayed as [Pending]. You can re-invite them in the [User Profile] page.

  1. Click (Settings) and in the displayed [Total Users] list, click the user whose [Status] is [Pending].

  2. Click [Click to Re-Invite] in [Registration Information].

    An invitation email will be sent to the corresponding user.

Deactivate Users

  1. Click (Settings) and in the displayed [Total Users] list, click the user you want to deactivate.

  2. Click View more at the upper right corner of the displayed page and select [Deactivate This User].

  3. Click [Deactivate].

Changing Roles

  1. Click (Settings) and in the displayed [Total Users] list, click the user whose role you want to change.

  2. Select the role you want to change from the [Role] dropdown menu in the [Ventana Settings] field.

  3. Click [Save].
