Groups

The [Groups] page is used to manage Pocketalk devices in Ventana by group. Also, some security features in Ventana, such as applying function limitations to Pocketalk devices or setting a PIN code, can be remotely configured in bulk by group.

How to View the [Group List]

The following explains how to view the [Group List]. To see the details of a group displayed on the [Group Details] page, click on the group in the list and refer to the “How to View the [Group Details] Page” page.

Group Name
The names of groups visible to logged-in users of Ventana. Pocketalk devices not linked to any group will be displayed as [(Ungrouped)].
No. Of Users
The number of Ventana users linked to each group.
No. Of Devices
The number of Pocketalk devices linked to each group.
Status of Remote Settings
The usage status of the [Remote Device Setup]* for each group will be displayed by the color of icons. When in use, the icon will appear green, and when not in use, it will appear gray.
The meanings of each icon are as follows:
  • (Data Protection):
  • (Feature Limit)
  • (Wifi Setting)
Last Updated
The last updated date of the [Remote Device Setup]* for each group

NOTE

  • If the list contains too many items, you can narrow it down by entering keywords in the search field.
  • To add a group, click [Create Group].

When you click on any group in the [Group List], the [Group Details] page will be displayed.

How to View the [Device List]

Device Number (IMEI)
The Pocketalk device's IMEI2 (embedded). Specifically, it shows the [IMEI (Embedded SIM)] from [Settings] - [Device/License Info] - [Device Info] on the device.
Device Name
A name that indicates the order in which the Pocketalk device was registered in Ventana (the ‘N’ in “Device N” is a number). The [Device Name] can be changed. It is recommended to change the name to make it easier to manage in Ventana.
Device Model
The product model of the Pocketalk device.
Group Added Date
The date when a Pocketalk device was linked to a group.

NOTE

  • If the list contains too many items, you can narrow it down by entering keywords in the search field.
  • Click Edit Name next to the group name to change the name of the group.
  • To change the group settings, please refer to "Creating / Managing Groups."
